interested in making your own iBook for your iPad? i am! (even though i don’t have an iPad). apple just released iBook Author, a free app that obviously lets your create your own iBooks.

thanks, dwineman of venimousporridge.com for the tip, and also for the analysis of iBook Author’s user agreement. apparently, you can create your iBook but if you sell it, Apple is entitled to a share of it. like dwineman so eloquently put it, it’s “akin to Microsoft trying to restrict what people can do with Word documents, or Adobe declaring that if you use Photoshop to export a JPEG, you can’t freely sell it to Getty.”

so sell at your own discretion.

on the bright side, i’m excited to (hopefully) start a joint iBook with my sister jenny of d3sign therapy that documents her wedding planning journey!
